We're proud to announce something a little different for your ears. On 6 January 2017, we'll be releasing a six song EP called 'Old Hat' by John Hutch Hutchinson.
Hutchinson has had a long and illustrious career in the music industry, from being a star of the 1960s beat-scene in Sweden, to being a core part of David Bowie's early musical years, and so it's a real treat to add him to our roster.
The EP was recorded throughout 2016 by Desert Mine alumni Sam Forrest, and features Hutchinson and his backing band, The Sultans of Thwing, exploring the realms of blues, gypsy jazz and other arcane roots stylings.
Interestingly, the EP also features Hayley Hutchinson of The Sorry Kisses on backing vocals, and the release is now available for preorder as a strictly limited compact disc.
